CIU continues to offer career opportunities with postgraduate education

Registration applications for the Educational Management and Planning English Master’s Program, affiliated with the CIU Institute of Graduate Studies and Research have begun, for the 2020-2021 Academic Year Spring semester.

The program officer: Prof. Dr. Fatoş Silman, reminded that in line with the rapidly developing and changing entire world, the aim of this program is to raise effective leaders with the ability to shape and manage change within the changing and developing world and adapt them to their institutions in the best way.

Stating that within the educational and training process, the students will be provided information on the leadership, motivation, change, decision-making, control, planning, problem solving and communication processes necessary for the effective management of an educational institution, Silman went on to advise; “we set out with an interdisciplinary approach. Experts trained from our program will also have knowledge in relation to education economy, budgeting, and cost-effectiveness”.

Noting that as much as the program is for educational institutions, it will also provide information to the employees of the education and human resource departments in both the public and private sectors, Prof. Dr. Silman stated that those working in these areas will be trained within the scope of the processes required for analyzing the training needs of the personnel and in the continuous development of them.

Silman pointed out that the program has qualified staff that are experts in the field, highlighting that an efficient teaching process based on research will be provided, by utilizing all kinds of educational technologies with students during the education provided.

Prof. Dr. Silman, who stated that the students studying in the Education Management and Planning English Master's program will be given the opportunity to conduct scientific research, participate in conferences, and publish their work in scientific journals, as well as theoretical courses, concluded “graduates of the program receive the title of education management and planning specialist. Those who acquire these qualifications are identified as management and planning experts, not only in the field of education, but in other fields also. Graduated students can work as managers and auditors in central educational institutions, as school principals, universities, and other educational institutions”.
