What is well-being? What is positive thinking?

Well-being expresses functional efficiency and covers physical, emotional, social and cognitive health. Well-being is the experience of health, happiness, and prosperity. It includes having good mental health, high life satisfaction, a sense of meaning or purpose, and the ability to manage stress. In addition it is related to feeling better; better performance, more satisfactory relationships, stronger immunity, physical health and mental health, self-control, psychological endurance and better self-regulation and coping with difficulty.

Well-being is closely related to positive thinking. Positive thinking is a thinking style that emphasizes what is positive and aims at producing constructive solutions rather than being problem-oriented. In this style of thinking, the difficulties and adversities experienced in life are not ignored, but suggestions for solutions to these problems that will increase the quality of life are tried to be developed. It aims to keep one's moral high by focusing on positive situations in life, noticing what one already possesses, and producing constructive solutions to adversities based on this. Positive thinking refers to a mindset that focuses on prioritizing positive events and developing effective strategies to overcome difficulties

Well-being in education, emphasizes the educational process and practices that will make students/children, educators and parents feel good, and evaluate the available opportunities in a qualified way.
