Launching an Electrical Field Project and KNX Automation Protocol

KTEMB Project Coordinator Osman Asilzade, Project Evaluation-Energy Specialist Prof. Dr. Mustafa İlkan, KTEMB President Bora Karaçam, SEHK President George Kyriacou, Electrical Engineers Şevki Kandulu and Ahmet Dağbaşı and an Engineer Stylianos Hirodontis spoke at the event held in the CIU Çevik Uraz Center Conference Hall.

KTEMB Project Coordinator Osman Asilzade stated that this project, carried out by the Cyprus Turkish Electric Contractors Association (KTEMB) and the Cyprus Licensed Electric Contractors Association (SEHK) Boards, aims to solve the employment problems of the qualified personnel in the sector.

Asilzade added that the project was designed to reduce the price of electricity and use energy more efficiently; attract more attention from the society to energy efficiency and increase the interest in the profession.

Prof. Dr. Mustafa İlkan mentioned that there are 10 hours of courses in the project covering 17 areas and explained that the certificates received here are of great importance in vocational education.

He continued as “Besides, there is something new to learn in this training, there is also an opportunity to update the existing information”.

After the completion of the promotional event, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Kuşaf, Head of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering presented certificate of gratitude to the speakers.
