Guidance and Psychological Counseling Master’s Program in English is awaiting students

Applications for the Cyprus International University (CIU) Guidance and Psychological Counseling Master’s Program in English for the 2020-2021 Academic Year Fall semester are now open.

CIU Faculty of Education, Head of the Department of Educational Sciences Department Prof. Dr. Fatoş Silman noted that the program, which is currently taught in Turkish, has also started education in English. It was expressed that graduates of the program can provide research, consultancy, training, intervention, and implementation services on the protection and development of mental health in schools, non-governmental organizations, and society as expert consultants.

Providing information about the courses to be offered as part of the program, Silman said, "the courses will focus on theories and practices such as individual psychological counseling, group counseling, family counseling, cognitive-behavioral therapies, and behavioral disorders".
