CIU CEC organizes Software Development Training for Web Applications

The Cyprus International University Continuing Education Center (CIUCEC) continues its education during the 2020-2021 Academic Year Fall Semester, with a new education program.

CIUCEC has initiated the "Software Development Training for Web Applications" certificate program, in an effort to train software developers that are required all over the world, that has been stated by sources such as LinkedIn and Forbes.

According to the information provided by CIUCEC, the certificate program is to begin online on 14th December 2020, between 17:00 - 19:00 on weekdays and 11:00 - 13:00 on Saturdays, in the Turkish language using the distance learning method.

The certificate program, which consists of 115 hours in total across 6 modules, will cover the following; Introduction to programming / programming with PHP (20 hours), web frontend (UI / UX) development (20 hours), database design and programming (20 hours), application development with Laravel (20 hours), software project management (15 hours) ), and project development (20 hours).

Participants who attend all the relevant modules and also successfully complete the project given within Project Development Module, will be awarded with a certificate of achievement. Participants who attend all classes will be given a certificate of participation.

In addition to the certificate programs to be opened, CIUCEC President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Adalıer informed that short-term certificate programs will be carried out during the term also.

Pointing out that CIUCEC withholds expert and experienced academic staff, Adalıer noted that the Center aims to meet the needs of the society in continuous education.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Adalıer also stated that the center attempts to assist individuals achieve success, within the rapidly changing world conditions, via the certificate programs they organize as CIUCEC.
