Success after an intensive preparation process
The Dean of the Faculty of Education, Prof. Dr. Halil İbrahim Yalın pointed out that accreditation is a quality assurance process in which education programs meet the defined quality standards, and they applied to EPDAD for accreditation as the CIU Faculty of Education, Guidance and Psychological Counseling Undergraduate Program. Yalın stated that they prepared for the evaluation process by working intensively in cooperation with the university administration, faculty, students and other stakeholders.

Prof. Dr. Yalın announced that the EPDAD delegation board held a site visit from March 9 to March 11 2020 to assess the education programs, completed their evaluations in May 2020 and accredited the program.

Employment opportunities for the graduates
Stating that the EPDAD accreditation means that quality education is provided and qualified teacher candidates are trained in the CIU Faculty of Education, Guidance and Psychological Counseling Undergraduate Program, Yalın said, “The accreditation received is also very valuable in terms of the preference of our university by prospective students and the employment opportunities of our graduates.”
