


About the Program
Cyprus International University (CIU) Faculty of Pharmacy graduates acquire the title of ‘pharmacist’. The faculty is settled in an innovative Science and Technology Center building equipped with the newest high-tech devices in laboratories giving importance to both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. With its qualified academic staff, the Faculty of Pharmacy offers English-language lectures, and the graduating pharmacists follow scientific developments with professional ethics using a universal perspective.
Educational Opportunities
CIU Faculty of Pharmacy, theoretical and practical courses are held in the classrooms and laboratories equipped with state-of-the-art equipment in the Science and Technology Center building. Dual-degree agreement was signed between the Faculty of Pharmacy and the University of Rome Tor Vergata, Italy in 2017-2018 academic year. According to this agreement, pharmacy students are allowed to study their first three years at CIU and complete the last two years at the University of Rome Tor Vergata in Italy. The medium of instruction in Faculty of Pharmacy is English. This allows graduates to have an international perspective, and have the opportunity to work all over the world as a pharmacist. Scientific developments are closely followed throughout ongoing education and in this light graduate pharmacists will give priority to the health of patients and will be following the ethical values of pharmacy and the developments in science throughout their professional lives.

Accreditations and memberships
The faculty is a member of different organizations in both academic and social fields such as the European Pharmaceutical Students Association under the name of CIUPSA. The faculty’s pioneering national and international reputation has been crowned with obtaining accreditation from the Pharmacy Council of Nigeria. MPharm program’s international quality assurance standards were also evaluated by the Accreditation Agency in Health and Social Sciences (AHPGS), on 30th June 2022, and accredited.
Career Areas
Faculty of Pharmacy graduates play a wide role in health sector. They may work in related departments of health ministries, pharmacies, hospitals and medicine industry. They may also work in R&D laboratories, quality control departments and cosmetics industry. Those who would like to pursue their career in academics, can specialize in the field by doing masters and doctorates.

TR Students who are successful in the exams conducted by the Higher Education Council Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) and are entitled to enroll in our university in line with their preferences can complete the registration process with the necessary documents for registration from our Registration and Liaison Offices throughout Turkey or from the Marketing Directorate on campus.

TRNC Applicants
TRNC citizens and TR citizen candidate students who have completed their entire high school education in TRNC. They are placed in undergraduate programs in line with their success in the CIU Student Placement and Scholarship Ranking Exam and the programs they prefer.
Students who are successful in the exam can register from the TRNC Marketing Office.
Applicants can directly apply online to our undergraduate programs using the application portal. Please fill in your details correctly and upload all the required documents listed on the last page of the application form.
Required documents;
- Completed application form,
- Higher/Secondary Certificate or equivalents (e.g. O/A’Level, WAEC/NECO),
- Evidence of English Language competence: TOEFL (65 IBT) or IELTS (5.5). Students without these documents will take the CIU English proficiency exam on campus following arrival,
- Scanned copy of international passport/birth certificate,
- Fully completed and signed CIU Rules and Regulations document (which can be downloaded during the online application).
Cyprus International University provides academic scholarships for its students as an incentive for success, with most students benefiting from 50%, 75% or 100% scholarships or discounted tuition fees. Click for more information.
