Other Important Information
2021-2022 Academic Year Fall Semester graduates will be able to attend the 2021-2022 Academic Year Fall Semester Graduation Ceremony.
The ceremonies will be broadcast live on the university’s official YouTube Channel and screened on Led TV at the student union.

Graduation Yearbook Photograph Shoot
In order for your photographs to be placed in the Graduation Yearbook with your graduation gowns, graduation yearbook photography sessions will be taken between 24 - 25 February 2022 at the Çevik Uraz Center from 9:00 till 17:00. Students who do not have their photographs taken will not have their photographs in the yearbook.

Registration to the Graduation Ceremony, Distribution of Graduation Gowns and Invitation Cards
In order to register for the graduation ceremony, students in the position to graduate will be asked upon SIS whether they will attend the ceremony. Students who confirm their attendance can go to class GE101 at the Graduate Studies and Education Building to collect their graduation gowns and the invitation for guests that will be attending the ceremony. With the collection of their gowns, their registration will be confirmed. Students who already have a graduation gown must first confirm their registration upon SIS and then attend the abovementioned classroom in order to confirm their registration. Students who wish to get a graduation gown can apply at the abovementioned classroom with a receipt of payment (Novabank Graduation Gown Account: 10-116-160010; 450 TL) during the dates 10-25 February 2022 from 09:00-17:00. The student names and surnames, and student numbers must be noted upon the receipts (Bank working hours are: 08:30-16:00). The wearing of graduation clothing (gown and cap) is compulsory for all students who will attend the graduation ceremony. In the event that students who attend the ceremony return their gowns and caps between the dates of 28th February – 2nd March 2022, during the hours of 09:00-12:00, at classroom GE101 located at the Graduate Studies and Education Building, 400 TL will be reimbursed of the funds they paid.

Distribution of Diplomas
As the diplomas will not be distributed at the graduation ceremony, graduates will be able to collect their diplomas from the 10th March 2022, from the Student Services Building, or they can request for them to be posted to their address.

The CIU Pandemic Board’s Decisions in Relation to Graduation Ceremony Participation
Due to the pandemic conditions, we are in, for the sake of public health and welfare, it is necessary to pay attention to the use of social distancing and the wearing of masks.

Graduating students must have with them their CIU Pass and antigen/PCR test results taken within the last 72 hours, and guests that will be attending the ceremony must have with them antigen/PCR test results taken within the last 72 hours.
Entrance and exit to and from the hall will be made from different doors.
Every graduating student may only invite one guest to the ceremony.
Graduating students must arrive and be ready outside the hall at least 30 minutes prior to the ceremony start time determined for their faculty. They will not be permitted to attend at another faculty’s time.
When the congratulatory certificates are being presented, there should be no contact made and no handshaking.
Graduating students must keep their social distancing while waiting in the queue.

*Individuals who are unvaccinated/are vaccinated but have not had their booster dose, will not be taken into the ceremony. The ceremony Hall will be disinfected after every session.
