2019-2020 Academic Year Spring Semester Online Graduation Ceremony

Dear prospective graduates,
As part of the measures regarding the Covid-19 outbreak taken by the TRNC Council of Ministers, we have announced you through our student information system that our 2019-2020 Academic Year Spring semester graduation ceremony will be held online. 
Our graduation ceremony will be broadcast on July 4, 2020, at 10:30 through the link of the official Youtube channel of our university www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pevvf1nGYWc
The announcements regarding the ceremony were made on the web page and social media accounts of our university.
The ceremony will start with the opening speeches of the presenters with the presentation of the program, and it will be followed by the National Anthem, the speech of our students on behalf of the graduates, the speech of our Rector, the speech of the Minister of National Education and Culture, the messages of our Deans/Directors' to the graduates, the announcement of the names of our candidate graduates, the symbolic convocation ceremony and it will end with the goodbye message of our academics’ to our graduates.
Since we will use your photos with your caps at our graduation ceremony and the graduation yearbook, we need the photos of you that you will take using the filter created on Instagram.
Step 1: Open the Instagram app.
Step 2: Enter the search page and enter the official Instagram account name of our university, ciu.official, in the search engine box.
Step 3: When you log in to the ciu.official account, click the :) (smiley) icon. You can watch the filter demo video by pressing the Instagram filter that comes up.
Step 4: While watching the Instagram filter demo video, take your selfie using a white background by clicking the 'Try Now' button in the lower-left corner.
Step 5: After taking your selfie, you should save it on your phone and send it to alumni@ciu.edu.tr by 29 June 2020, until 17:00, including your personal information as your student number, name and surname. Otherwise, your photo will not be available in the video of the graduation ceremony and the yearbook. Also, don't forget to tag us in your photos via Instagram.
Note: Graduates of the 2019-2020 Academic Year Spring semester will reserve the right to attend the normal graduation ceremony to be held later on.
