Information Centre in CIU provides supplyment of information technology sources for strategic priorities of the university, practicality and security of IT services and efficient use of them.
Background
In the buildings, UTP which has CAT6 quality is used as structural wire and the buildings are connected to two centres with Gbps capacity fibre optic wires .
In the centres, backbone switching equipment is at the level of Layer ¾, with 139Gbps bandwidth and backed up components, and in the buildings end-user switching devices are at the level of 2/3 and are set up with 8Gbps bandwidth.
