From The President
Dear Students,
Our University, which obtained the necessary equality certifications for of all its academic programmes from YÖK (Turkish Higher Educational Board), has continued its academic progress and development over the past fourteen years, and has now become one of the leading universities in The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, with six faculties, three institutes, and two colleges of higher education.
Cyprus International University (established in 1997), is determined to follow a method which enables our institution to develop its technological infrastructure and growth with planned and solid steps. The youth of our university gives us an advantage over other universities, in going further by using its young and dynamic human resources.
Our aim is to have many Alumni who get sufficient information of universal values, a mind that is capable of tackling many diverse issues of the knowledge society, and an ability to reach a sensibility towards new discoveries and tendencies. With this aim in mind, we constantly try to refine the quality of teaching, and employ the best academicians in their respective fields. We also support scientific research that is being carried out by our academicians, thus contributing positively to the scientific quality of our university.
Cyprus International University, with grants it provides to its students, it’s socio-cultural venues, and its ever improving campus life quality, also offers a warm atmosphere , besides its high-geared modern education. Our university gives each and every one of our students the chance to develop themselves, with its modern building and laboratories, elite teaching staff, lovely and vivid campus life, contemporary technological infrastructure, commuting and dormitory facilities, social events, regular conferences, seminars, work-shops, and social student club organizations.
Our university, which proceeds from the idea of a human centered organization approach, tries hard to serve society in every possible way. It represents our country in the international arena, especially in areas of research and application, as well as teaching and learning venues with its academic staff and students.
Cyprus International University offers its services to The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus by carrying out research in hitherto uncharted fields of culture and science. With these new and solid ground breaking activities, our university takes firm steps into the future with its academicians, administrative personnel, and students. The student population which increases almost every academic year, and our quality of teaching, are dependable indications of our progress.
