| "SEED AND SOIL" WAS PERFORMED AT CIU CAMPUS

"SEED AND SOIL" (Street Theatre) The Street theatre "Seed and Soil" is the second play of the Turkish Cypriot State Theatre's 2006-2007 seasons. The play was put on the stage on the 17th May 2007, Thursday at 21:00 pm at Cyprus International University Campus.
Turkish Cypriot State Theatre "Seed and Soil" had a different scene and the play was performed on the real ship at the street. The ship was brought from Famagusta harbour to Nicosia and its length is 11 meters. The theatre was played on this ship and it had a long journey towards the history of the Island Cyprus. The director of this theatre is Zerrin Akdenizli who wrote the play by using many Turkish Cypriot Poets' poems in order to create the text.
The play was put on the stage on the ship which was brought in front of the CIU evik Uraz Building and there were great attention by the spectators who love theatre very much. Poets whose poems were used in the play: Bar Burcu, Bertolt Brecht, Ergin Yldzolu, Faize zdemirciler, Feriha Altok, Fikret Demiraa, Filiz Naldven, Hakk Ycel, brahim Aziz, Mehmet Levent, Mehmet Yan, Mustafa Gkeolu, Nazm Beratl, Neriman Cahit, Nee Yan, Nice Denizolu, zker Yan, Tamer ncl, mit nat, Yannis Ritsos (Note: The order of the poet names were arranged according to the alphabet's order).
