The traditions can best be seen in ceremonies or on special occasions such as weddings, feast days (in Ramadan), births, etc. An important characteristic of Turkish Cypriots is their hospitality and manner in serving guests. The Cyprus culture is rich in folk arts and folk dance. Carnivals, exhibitions and folk festivals are organized in Cyprus.
