Progression Agreement
There is a formal Memorandum of Understanding between Cyprus International University and the University of Sunderland which enables students who complete their first three or two years of study at Cyprus International University to progress to University of Sunderland and to receive a University of Sunderland Degree as well as a Cyprus International University Degree.
English Language Competence
Students must satisfy one of the following criteria:
• A score of 6.0 on IELTS
• A score of 550 on TOEFL (or 213 in the Computer-Based Test)
Tuition Fees
Students who are admitted to this program will have to pay overseas tuition fees for the academic year in which they study at the University of Sunderland. For detailed information visit the University’s web site: http://www.sunderland.ac.uk
Scholarship Opportunity
Students will have the right to apply for a scholarship when they move from the Cyprus International University to the University of Sunderland. Students whose applications are accepted will receive a discount on their university fee.

• Grade ‘C’ at O’level/GCSE
• A pass (A, B, C) from Cambridge Advanced English Examination (CAE)
• A pass in the Cambridge Proficiency Examination (CPE)
