Introduction
The twenty-first century has brought in a new era of highly advanced, competitive, and rapidly growing knowledge based societies. These societies will not only gain superiority in industry, business and administration but will also re-engineer the future of our world. Only those societies, which cannot only produce high quality knowledge but also make the best use of it, will be able to compete in today's world. Higher education is the sole path to reach this goal. Cyprus International University accepts this challenge and has extended her services in various modern and highly demanded disciplines in the School of Graduate Studies.
The School of Graduate Studies is a multi-disciplinary unit within the broad framework of CIU. The School offers Master's degrees in the following disciplines:

All degree programs are taught jointly with colleagues from various disciplines including business administration, economics, fine arts, electrical engineering, civil engineering and computer engineering. In most programs, students have the opportunity to select a path with or without a thesis option. In the case of "with thesis", students have to complete eight courses together with a Master's level thesis. For the "non-thesis" option, students have to complete ten courses and a term project. There is no hard-and-fast rule about the time schedule for these programs; however a full-time student can expect to complete the program within one year and part-timers can prolong their study period up to four years.
Aims and Objectives
The primary objective of the School is to educate individuals who will advance the state of knowledge by making genuine contributions through the creation and dissemination of original ideas. The School prepares graduates who can pursue their careers in research and teaching at universities or become managers (technical or non-technical) in national and multinational companies and in government and non-government organizations.
Requirements
Applicants must have a four-year bachelor's degree in their relevant field. Students who possess a two-year bachelor's degree have to spend one year taking pre-master's courses. These courses are selected according to their previous deficiencies and future discipline. All Turkish or Turkish Cypriot students also have to fulfill YK's requirement of passing the LES examination with a minimum score of 45%.
Admissions
Applications are accepted throughout the year, although it is highly recommended that students should begin in the Fall Semester (starting from October).
