Cyprus International University Library aims at providing all kinds of library sources which are needed by students, academicians and administrative staff to access information about their own field or general culture and serving them using the best technical opportunities with education and research activities.
Our university has been supporting teaching, research and students’ scientific development directly. In our university, books are placed on open shelves and accordingly with Dewey Decimal Classification System. Our library provides opportunities for our students,academic and administrative staff to benefit from library services by joining for free. There is a huge collection which consists of books, e-books, magazines, e-magazines, CDs, video tapes, floopy disks and academic internet sources in the library.
The appropriate international databases for our teaching-learning curriculum are being used at the moment. Besides, operations on getting membership of new databases have been carried out. It is possible to search for bibliografic information, e-book, e-magazine, conference, standard and full-text articles in the databases that our library has membership. IP controlled access to all electronic sources in our campus is possible. Access addresses to present and new databases and user manuals are sent to e-mail adresses of all users.
Orientation program is held in the beginning of each education year for the new students in order to introduce library services and knowledge sources.
Our university library is a member of ANKOS, EKUAL, ULAKBİM and ÜNAK.
