Center of Archaelogy, Heritage and Conservation

Cyprus Island, whose history and civilization are based on ancient times, is an open museum to a lot of ages and civilization. There is an institute at Cyprus International University where the expert academicians study in order to protect and present this unique characteristic of Cyprus.

At the Center for Archaelogy, Heritage and Conservation Research, “archeology”, “history”, “culture” and “art” in Cyprus are deeply being studied and various courses are given to educate the society for the proper preservation of the cultural heritage.

At the institute, where multidiscipline and common studies are conducted, courses as research, analyzing techniques, theoretical approaches and methods are also taught. Cultural heritage that is held in Cyprus, which is the richest island and also the center of various civilizations in Mediterranean, traced not only in their architecture but also in literary works. At the institute, which has cooperation with all education and research foundations, ongoing projects are conducted in parallel to the historical, sociological and political perspectives.
