Faculty of Agriculture

From the beginning of humanity, Agriculture has provided clothing and fuel to meet the needs of the first hunter-gatherer culture, both imported and from produced domestically as the main occupation of the area.

The United Nations report "in agriculture Realizing a New Vision", prepared in 2011 for the World Eco Forum, highlighted the different aspects of output, such as the use of natural resources for agriculture, food and fuel and environmental and social impacts.

Agricultural education is affected by the resulting expectations from agriculture and related fields and the provision of qualified manpower in relevant sectors to meet rapidly changing needs.

The CIU Faculty of Agricultural Science and Technology was accordingly planned to integrate basic agricultural science with technology and to provide opinions on publications.

The Faculty undertakes an important role in providing professional knowledge, conducting researches and applying the results of these researches.

Students of this Faculty have an opportunity to practise their learning and they undertake training in a 2940 decare area which is located in CIU campus known as the “Application, Research and Education Farm”.
