Faculty of Fine Arts
Fine Arts education which got formal qualification approximately 200 years ago, has gained today a functional level which establishes a strong relation with entire production and service sectors. From now on, Fine Arts is not an income which is included in the productivity and thinking process later on. It is the basic knowledge field which moves forward form itself and which stands in the centre of the work. It is not sufficient to organize a city, a building a machine, a ceremony and an organization well and to make them work as well. Being in harmony with aesthetics strengthen the affects of Fine Arts and increases its prestige. Hence, Fine Arts is included in every part of modern life.
Fine Arts Education, parallel to its expected duties, obliged to renew itself continuously especially in the last 30 years.
The curriculum has been continuosly revised in order to prepare the students as near future professinals for their multi-oriented jobs. In order to make it more functional required pedagogical sensivity is at primary position. From this perspective, we are trying to update and adopt both our academic staff and technical staff of our faculty to the higher standarts that the Fine Arts posses today.
Devoloping and improving the standarts of the faculty continuously provides the opportunity for our students to participate in this dynamic atmosphere more actively. The open dialogue established with the students and the deep effort of the academic staff is not left unanswered by our students. From this point of view it is required to say that even our students make contributions in order to improve the education in our faculty.
