Progression Agreement with England 3 Year CIU + 1 Year

 

Cyprus International University – University of Sunderland

Progression Agreement;

There is a formal Memorandum of Understanding between Cyprus International University and the University of Sunderland which enables students who study their first two or three years of study at Cyprus International University and meet the requirements to progress to University of Sunderland to complete their degree.

English Language Competence

Students must satisfy one of the following criteria:

  • An overall score of 6.0 on IELTS with at least 5.5 in each component: reading, writing, listening and speaking
  • A score of 550 on TOEFL
  • 80 overall in the iB TOEFL (with a minimum of 19 in Reading; 19 in Listening; 21 in Speaking; and  19 in Writing)

Tuition Fees

International students who are admitted to this program are required to pay overseas tuition fees for the academic year in which they study at the University of Sunderland. They will also need to satisfy any visa requirements for entry to the UK. For detailed information visit the University’s web site.

Scholarship Opportunity

Students will have the right to apply for a scholarship when they transfer from the Cyprus International University to the University of Sunderland. Students whose applications are accepted will receive a discount on their university fee.

Cyprus International University – University of Wolverhampton

Progression Agreement;

There is a formal Memorandum of Understanding between Cyprus International University and the University of Wolverhampton which enables students who complete their first three years of study at Cyprus International University to progress to University of Wolverhampton and to receive a University of Wolverhampton Degree as well as a Cyprus International University Degree.

English Language Competence

Students must satisfy one of the following criteria:

  • A score of 6.0 on IELTS
  • A score of 553 on TOEFL paper based test or
  • 82 overall in the iB TOEFL (with a minimum of 19 in Reading; 19 in Listening; 21 in Speaking; and 19 in Writing)
  • Grade ‘C’ at O’ level/GCSE
  • A pass (A, B, C) from Cambridge Advanced English Examination (CAE)
  • A pass in the Cambridge Proficiency Examination (CPE)
