“Four Seasons Fashion Show” Designed by CIU Academics marked the Night at the 9th Republic Festival of Youth Department of the TRNC Prime Minister.
Vali Gjinali, Lecturer and the Head of the Department of Hair Care and Beauty Services, and Fatma Öksüz, Lecturer from Cyprus International University (CIU), performed a show at the Four Seasons Fashion Show within the scope of the 9th Republic Festival of Youth Department of the TRNC Prime Minister.
The festival, which was held in Nicosia Atatürk Indoor Sports Hall, started with the concert of the Prime Minister of Turkey Yurdum Chorus and Orchestra. At the festival, which continued with modern dance performances of different groups, hip-hop performances, folk dances, a BMX show and a gymnastics show, The Four Seasons Fashion Show, which was prepared and presented by Fatma Öksüz and Vali Gjinali, marked the night.
Gjinali, Head of the Department of Hair Care and Beauty Services, noted that the first demonstration of the Four Seasons Fashion Show that they designed was done within the scope of the 20th Spring Festival and he stated that “as a result of a request from the Prime Minister Youth Department we performed the second demonstration with our professional staff of about 40 people.”
He stated they had a chance to work more on the choreography of the fashion show due to it being the second demonstration of the show, saying “the technical facilities provided by the Prime Minister Youth Department supported the reflection of our designs on the LED screen behind the scenes and this made our show more meaningful.”
Öksüz stated that they reflected the feeling of the four seasons in the designs in addition to the hair and make up designs and almost all of the audience experienced the the four seasons feeling not only with the hair, make-up, and clothes shown on the stage but also with the reflections on the Led screen and music.
Şifa Çolakoğlu, Director of the Prime Minister Youth Department, presented a plaque of appreciation to all the teams who contributed to the realization of the night.
