CIU hosted 12th grade Painting Department Students of the Anatolian Fine Arts High School

Faculty of Fine Arts Design and Architecture, Cyprus International University (CIU) hosted the 12th grade Painting Department students of the Graphic Design Department of Anatolian Fine Arts High School (LAGSL).

Students were given detailed information about the departments and university facilities of the Faculty of Fine Arts Design and Architecture at the event organized by the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Promotion Office, CIU. Students, had a chance to visit the classrooms and laboratories on campus and they also participated in the workshop organized by the Department.

Vildan Açan, Lecturer of the Graphic Design Department organised a workshop on "Character Design with Collage Technique" and she did it at the Arts and Social Sciences Centre. Açan mentioned that the candidate students used their own imagination and created their own designs and she added that many creative ideas appeared and fun times were experienced.

Evren Hıfsıoğlu, LAGSL Painting Department teacher, stated that such activities are very beneficial for the students' to recognize the universities and she said that the interest shown are beneficial both for the education and for socialization.

Doğukan Mutluata, a student of LAGSL Painting Department, stated that they had the opportunity to get to know the university and its departments better.
