Kaya stated that they are examining the impact of counterfeit news and social networks on investor behaviours in financial decision making today. He said the project is being conducted with a group of scientists working in the fields of economics, neuroscience, and management information systems.
Kaya said that the first meeting about the project was held at the Dresden University of Technology and he stated that he started the experimental test at the Indraprastha University.
Kaya pointed out that the research is more intensely applied on young people and he stated that in this way they analyze how the brain works, and he said through the artificial brain created, they warn investors whether they are following a correct path or not in the light of the net information.
Kaya mentioned that they also did studies to analyze how investors decide on the axis of uncertainty during the research, and he stated that the project was financed by the German Research Foundation and the German Academic Exchange Service.
Kaya said today's investment decisions are made on a particularly fragile ground. He stated that it is important that investors in Cyprus and Turkey adopt new understandings in financial decision making processes.
Kaya said the investment decisions that will be taken will have a positive contribution to the country's economy as a result of the reliable data that will be collected. He stated that Porf. Lehmann-Waffenschmidt is the director of the project and Dr. Burak Erkut is responsible from the coordination.
