Career Planning in Law at CIU

A conference on "Career Planning in Law" was organized by Alumni Relations and Career Research Center at Cyprus International University (CIU). Deputy Chief Prosecutor Ergul Kizilok attended the conference as a speaker.

Dean of the Faculty of Law Prof. Dr.Çağlar Özel  made the opening speech of the conference at the Çevik Uraz Conference Hall. The assistant of General Attorney Ergul Kizilok, who shared his personal knowledge and experiences with faculty of law students, said that being a  lawyer is a very honorable and beautiful profession but that they could take threats from time to time. Kizilok stated that the law attaches great importance to updating., that it is a profession that needs the most effort after the profession and you need to continue reading until the end of your life.

The assistant of General Attorney Kizilok shared his knowledge that graduates in Cyprus need to intern for a year to find a job, four months after the internship they can join the courts, and four months later they can enter the bar exam and start their career as a lawyer.

A great number of academicians and students participated the activity, The assistant of General Attorney Ergul Kizilok  answered the participants' questions. At the end of the event organized by by Alumni Relations and Career Research Center, a plaque of appreciation was presented for the participation of Assistant of  General Attorney Ergul Kizilok.
