Assoc. Prof. Dr. Uludağ discloused the need for a national and international cooperation to be competitive in the tourism sector
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Uludağ, Director of the School of Tourism and Hotel Management, stated that he believes that tourism competitiveness and sustainability of tourism destinations will be the hot topics in the tourism sector in 2019.
He stated that the ability of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus to compete as a tourism island should be kept at the highest level and it should be targeted to make this permanent. There is a need for partnerships and cooperation with institutions and organizations to protect the competitiveness of Cyprus and its dominance in the market. In addition, he pointed out the importance of making international connections absolute.
Assoc. Porf. Dr. Uludağ said this year it is expected to have 3% to 5% annual growth within the framework of this year's tourism trends globally. He suggested the tourism sector competition map of our country should be updated urgently.
