"Artificial Intelligence" was discussed by the Computer Science Club
Assoc.Prof.Dr.Şadi Evren Şeker explained participants what needs to be done to advance in this area at the conference on "Artificial Intelligence" organized by the Computer Science Club affiliated to the Student Development and Counselling Centre (SDCC), Cyprus International University (CIU).
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Şadi Evren Şeker pointed out that the main themes were "data knowledge" and connected to this "artificial intelligence increase" at the event held at the CIU Çevik Uraz Conference Hall. Şeker stated that people have their daily work done using technological devices and added that technological devices, computers, mobile phones in the world are pieces of life like stone and earth in the nature. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Şadi Evren Şeker stated that these tools can be turned into any machine according to the needs. He added that you can use the Internet from a mobile phone and a music player and this was a dream for humanity.
Şadi Evren Şeker stated that from the Ancient Greek time a machine was needed to solve all the work of mankind and therefore it was started to live for personal comfort. Şeker emphasized that the greatest advancement was to move to machines that could be thought of instead of humans within the scope of artificial intelligence. Şeker emphasized that all the CIU students, who would like to develop in this area, need to improve themselves academically and he added that there are no opportunities for learning in the business sector as in other areas.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Şadi Evren Şeker pointed out that those, who want to work on artificial intelligence, should have at least a doctoral level education.
