97th Issue of the Journal on Folklore/Literature at CIU was published
The 97th issue of folklore/literature international peer-reviewed science/culture journal of Cyprus International University was published on February 1, 2019. The journal, which is published by 27 expert scientists, includes 13 scientific research articles and two promotional articles.
Prof. Dr. Metin Karadağ, the Editor, made a statement about the publication of the journal saying that there is a significant increase in the number of scientific indexes that were scanned by the previous number and that the journal is included in 36 indexes such as EBSCO, DOAJ, Elsevier/Proquest and Scopus.
Karadağ said, “In the last issue in addition to the following unique contributions that will contribute to the field in the following areas; Adem Sağır's Modalization of Conservative Woman; A View of Ahmet Akgöl in the Context of World of Myths of Agriculture and Hunter-Warrior Societies; Çiçek Demirtaş Önder’s Pınar Kür and Paris in the Eradication Process of Roman People: An Analysis by Jung's Archetype Roman Rebirth; Traces of Ece Serrican Kabalcı's Mother Archetype in the Poems of Didem Madak; Selma Sol’s Poverty Criticism in Nasrettin Hodja Anecdotes, an exhibition and a book presentation were also included.
“The article quota for the 2019 issues of the Journal is full. The November 2019 issue will be published in the name of Prof. Dr. İlhan Başgöz, who is the most important living scientist of Turkish folklore.”
Prof. Dr. Karadağ thanked the scholars, authors, researchers and especially journal referees, as the journal has a prestigious status and interest. He said that the folklore/literature magazine of the CIU, offered both scientific and social services.
