International Relations

Aim of the Program:

The Master programme in International Relations is based within the framework of the production of analytical knowledge within an interdisciplinary approach that emphasizes theories combining local studies and international relations. This programme results in either a MA Diploma or MA Certificate.

In the MA Diploma programme, students must take seven courses, undertake seminars and prepare an MA dissertation whereas in the MA Certificate programme they must take ten courses and prepare a term project. The topics of the Theory of International Relations and the Problems of International Security are core modules in both programmes with elective courses, in great demand by students, covering modules such as Universal History, Political Philosophy, European Integration, Globalization and International Associations, Turkish-Greek Relations.
